Silk Living Room

It all begins with a collaboration…

When I connected with Liz Besanson, a talented YouTuber, Photographer and Stylemaker, it just was synergistic!! She had a vision for her living room makeover and was drawn to 2 raw silk pieces I had previously done.

So I thought instead of choosing 1 style, they could actually make a handsome diptych, we went ahead and made them to the appropriate scale, I packed and shipped them to her and she worked her magic!!

The silk is up-cycled from sari fabric, so the history of the fibers have a poetic connection to women, craft, ritual and self expression through adornment. This spoke to Liz and she found the perfect way to create an ultra chic environment that feels like a perfect balance between earthy restful and fresh optimism!!
