Recent years asked us not to wait. They demanded us to look inward and examine now. To shift, make sense and discard the filler that distracts and no longer serves the point.

There’s a clarity being uncovered… and this series visually represents a messy, unsettled language matter that is a complex mass. It also represents connection on a smaller scale, between 2 canvases, 2 points of view, maybe 2 people. Separate and whole, they still relate. The canvases almost seem to be an entire history of (text?) messages between them. An entire relationship of words made into visual metaphor instead…where the specifics matter less and the energy that remains is the real poetry.
